OK, so maybe I am not 100% Shar Pei, but don't I deserve a forever home too? My name is Clementine, and I am from the shelter in Yuba City, CA, where I was certain to be put down had I not been accepted into this rescue. I have a big smooshy Shar Pei face, but I am not sure what my heritage really is. No matter, as you can see I am really cute, but I need to work on my manners. It seems nobody really cared about me or what I did and just left me to take care of myself in a yard. Now I have to start learning to be better behaved. My first owners gave me away to someone else who was not interested in getting me back from the shelter even though I am microchipped. Microchips are a great tool to be able to find us if we somehow get lost, but they only work if you care enough to come and get us when the shelter calls. I get along with people and other dogs, but I do have a lot of energy and I'm working on becoming a better listener. I think we could all benefit from being better listeners sometimes-just a thought...
